Since Perspectives 2009

I just started my first week at Washington Bible College and I am so excited to gain more knowledge of God's word and allow it to continually transfrom my life and glorify my Lord Jesus Christ.

The school is very small, and only about 100 people actually live on campus. I am going to take this great opportunity to lead prayer meetings about once a month along with Global Prayer Digest to pray for specific people groups and to bring more awareness to the diversity of humans around the world in need of Jesus Christ. Well, even if the school wasnt this small, I would still do this. But I think that being in a small school will allow me to talk to everybody about my God's heart for the world.

I am continuing to work at Starbucks for this semester on weekends. I am going to stop working there after this semester. For next semester, I am praying about possibly getting involved in the refugee ministry and adopting a refugee.

For next summer, I am praying about going on a 4-8 week trip with an organization (possibly Pioneers).

The last two years after high school before I went to college were an amazing two years where God shifted my focus towards His glory and called me to serve Him overseas. Perspectives was a huge part in my spiritual growth and transformation. I praise God for His work the past two years, and I am so excited to see Him work in the years to come.
